Malabar Scholar is a collective attempt of scholars connected to the region of Malabar interested in connecting with the community and its aspirations. While recognizing the earlier efforts made by other scholars in this direction, the present initiative identifies some critical gaps in realizing the collective dream. This idea has evolved from a series of personal and informal discussions in different contexts; we are grateful to you the same and expect to continue such interactions in our way. At present, we are collectively working towards developing a vision document and strategies to take this collective effort to the larger public. In the process, we have identified some key tasks and programmes which make the ball rolling.
